Marketing a Home-Based Child Day Care Business

I have several clients who are starting home-based child day care business in public housing that prohibits the use of signs for advertising. They have a lot of competition and are struggling to attract customers. What are the most cost-effective marketing strategies in this situation? I appreciate your contribution to this brainstorming exercise.

Online Promotion and promotion at local businesses. For example, going to parks, child stores and places that parents frequently visit.

For example, going to a local "Babys R Us" or Target and leaving information would draw more customers than if you left your information in front of your door. Remember, only people that actually drive past the door would be able to see the sign.. Think "regional advertisement"

Hello,

Make sure you have checked all the licensing requirements of the state, because those can be rather extensive. A good insurance program is one more pitfall which is often omitted in the business plan. Hire a part-time worker to help you out during the busiest hours. An example of such a child care business is Lindsey's Family Daycare, read more about it in https://www.sba.gov/sites/default/files/files/pub_mp29.pdf https://proessays.org proessays.
